About Captain Eric Richins

Guide Eric Richins has been fishing his entire life, but recently he got into guiding wilderness trips and working as a wilderness river ranger. During this process, he has developed unique fly fishing techniques and honed in on his interests in the sport of fishing. He is passionate about leading others on incredible nature adventures while also teaching them how to perfect their fly fishing skills. With Guide Eric's extensive experience, you will learn how to navigate in river or lake fishing with ease and confidence.


Background: Eric grew up fishing and his passion for the sport has further developed into his profession. Eric has a serious background in Wildlife Biology, holding a masters degree from the University of Montana. He has used his background in the science of wildlife biology to understand the best ways to go about fishing for Trout, Walleye and Pike at different times of the year and under different conditions.


The Boat:

Spend a great time with 21-foot Sun Tracker TM pontoons aboard, ideal for exploring the surrounding shallows, rivers, and lakes of North Dakota. It is completely equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, and a live bait tank. This vessel can comfortably accommodate up to six guests at the same time.

BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date in person to Captain Richins

 

GUEST CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 7 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged and dependent on guide availability.

 

GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit.

 

TIPPING: Tips to your guide are customary greatly appreciated for your quality trip.
